Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
It was a bittersweet moment when we hauled off the last of the boxes from our studio in Garwood this past August. My team and I have some great memories from projects planned and implemented, meeting new clients, and growing as a team and a company.
But it had become clear that our old studio was no longer able to serve our current needs as our team, projects, and vision has expanded and changed over the past two years.
This move has been a long time coming. I spent many, many hours searching for just the perfect space, in the right location, to provide everything we needed to launch a new service for AHD&Co. Because you see, we didn’t just need a new office. What was needed for my vision of the future of AHD&Co was enough room to host offices, a studio, and a showroom.
What we needed was a location for the new AHD&Co Design Center.
I’m thrilled to share that we will be opening the new AHD&Co Design Center in downtown Westfield in early 2023! Not only will our new location offer larger space to work and meet with our clients, we will also be launching AHD Trade, a procurement service for interior designers.

Our new studio will include a showroom with all the great furnishings, art and accessories that we source for you. We will showcase product lines, fabrics, case goods, and accessories. This new space will be available to our interior design partners, and will allow them the opportunity to bring clients into a showroom where there is access to upholstery lines, a fabric library, and a working space in which to present designs to clients. We are now accepting applications for our Designer Trade Program – it’s quick and easy to apply!
We are already working from the in-progress Design Center, and each day there’s a little less heavy construction, and we get a little bit closer to working on the finishing details. All our projects are still moving forward as planned, and we are accepting new clients.
