Sales Representative - AHD Trade
AHD Trade, a growing B2B trade program for Interior Designer seeks a part-time skilled and motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The role involves finding and nurturing potential sales leads, managing orders, and building strong customer relationships to expand our unique business model. We are seeking a Sales Representative who can contribute significantly to our business growth. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the sales process, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to assert themselves professionally. Job functions include:
Generate and follow up on sales leads in the design and architecture community
Coordinate effectively with the procurement department to ensure smooth processing of sales orders.
Maintain and nurture customer relationships to foster long-term business partnerships.
Display persistence and assertiveness to drive sales while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
Proven track record in sales and meeting sales goals
Entrepreneurial mind set, excellent communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable with cold calling, knocking on doors and face to face client interactions.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong organization and follow-up skills to keep track of and build client base
Basic knowledge of Google Suite, client management software such as Dubsado
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently find solutions
Availability to work 10-15 hours per week within New Jersey to start. We are located in Westfield, NJ and you will be required to spend some time in the office as well as out on appointments.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation structure for this role will combine a part-time hourly salary with a commission scheme, commensurate with experience and skills. This will be based on achieving and exceeding sales targets, which will be reviewed and set on a quarterly basis. The package includes flexible hours, remote options, and a friendly, supportive work environment.
