Part-Time Marketing Coordinator

We are an established Interior Design and Architecture firm seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is partially remote, partially in person and will help you to gain valuable industry experience. You will be required to take photos at our Westfield, NJ office and retail shop, and also onsite at our design projects for social media content. This position is approximately 15-20 hours per week.
Job functions include:
Manage and create social media content for our interior design firm and retail shop (6 Instagram posts per week plus content for Instagram stories).
Assist in creating and implementing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and sales
Conduct market research and gather insights on industry trends
Work closely with our team to brainstorm new ideas for promotions, events, and partnerships
Work in tandem with retail and online shops to promote goods and internet sales.
Skills and Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, Photoshop, Flodesk and Loomly
Basic understanding of marketing concepts and sales strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and engaging manner
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively, handling multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Creative and innovative thinker, with the ability to come up with fresh marketing ideas
Prior exposure or interest in interior design is a plus, but not required.
